Callahan Foundation Awards Grant to Case Western Reserve University to support its 2016 Research ShowCASE

Case Western Reserve University’s (CWRU) annual Research ShowCASE is a daylong celebration of research, discovery and innovation throughout the university community.

Organized by the Office of Research and Technology Management, the Research ShowCASE provides an opportunity for hundreds of undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, researchers and scientists to collaborate and share their critical thinking and research. The Research ShowCASE is held in conjunction with the Spring Undergraduate Symposium.

Exhibits of real-world applications, critical insights, and creative and intellectual activities will be on view for students, faculty, staff, alumni, business and industry leaders and the community, highlighting the full range of research at CWRU. Attendees will spend the day connecting with exhibitors, learning about their projects, engaging in meaningful discussions and seeing how researchers work together to solve real-world problems through collaboration.

Research ShowCASE is free, open to the public and held in Case Western Reserve University’s Veale Convocation Center.

This event is one of countless initiatives that demonstrates CWRU’s commitment to innovation and dedication to creating an environment that facilitates learning and creativity and sparks innovation through research, critical thinking and intellectual insights. The Callahan Foundation will serve as a title sponsor for the Research ShowCASE and its $25,000 grant will help support university innovation, research and discovery.
